Online reviews are considered not that important by a large number of businesses, however positive reviews have been proven to effect the buying decisions of around 90% of consumers. This alone just shows how important and integral getting reviews are for making a business successful. Here at Instructors Directory we are aware of this and we want to offer the tools to our registered instructors to maximise their opportunities in gaining reviews from their past and present students/clients. To deal with this we have developed a range of different Review Widgets which have been designed to encourage the submission of a review. As well as this the widgets have been designed to help promote an instructors current rating and details of previous reviews.
Instructors will be able to select from one of three review widgets; Basic, Standard and Advance. The Basic version will contain the business name or instructors name, a link to submit a review as well as a link to their profile page. Then we have the Standard version, which also displays the instructors overall rating and a link to view the submitted reviews on their profile page. And finally we have the Advance version, which displays the same as the Standard version but also displays a breakdown of all of the review ratings received and part of the latest review which has been submitted. On top of this to further promote the use of these tools and to help with the integrating of them onto an instructors website, we have allowed instructors to customise their widget colours. Below is a list of attributes which can be altered; Text colour - Background colour - Border colour - Link colour - Link Hover colour - Link Visited colour - Link Active colour
