I am the Managing Director of The Training Domain Ltd. My previous roles have included Head of Training for Airbus subsidiaries in the Middle East and provision of training expertise on large-scale telecommunication projects.
I specialise in capability and capacity development, in particular helping teachers/trainers, or those who want to be teachers/trainers, to develop their skills in classroom management and enhancing their understanding of theories and models of learning.

So You Want to Train Adults?
This CPD accredited 81 hour course, which can be delivered as a series of modules (e.g. evening classes) or as a 3 week stand alone course, prepares candidates to a recognised professional certified standard, focussed on skills in training adults undertaking Higher Education.
Classroom Management
This 3 day course covers classroom dynamics, conflict management, learning styles, assessment and debriefing. Designed for anyone looking to develop their classroom management skills.
Facilitation Skills
This 2 day course covers communication, experiential learning, and facilitation skills, including syndicate work around coaching, feedback and debriefing skills. Great for coaches/mentors or trainers.

2011-2015: Head of Training - Airbus Group: Responsible for leadership and overall management of training development, delivery and support staff, delivering communications and language training to the Saudi Arabian National Guard.
2006-2008: Head of International Policing: Coordinated the provision of UK police officers in to various post-conflict environments overseas. Developed strategy and policy, including assisting the Foreign & Commonwealth Office in developing its Performance Review process for overseas police officers. Coordinated first UK joint FCO/Defence policing mission to Afghanistan & managed UK police officers into missions in Kosovo, Bosnia & Sierra Leone.
2005-2006: Head of Training: Head of Training Centre responsible for 1500 police students per year, from initial training through to advanced investigative and leadership training.
2002-2005: Chief Training Designer-National Projects: Chief Designer of the Advanced Public Order Commander training programme (APOC) a national programme of competency-related training, immersive learning and assessment for Bronze, Silver and Gold Commanders in the police service.
1997-2002: National Trainer: Responsible for facilitating a wide variety of learning and development programmes, including leadership and management training, Train The Trainer (T3), as well as coordinating national training curriculums.
Master of Science Degree - 2006-2010 - Canterbury Christ Church University: Policing Models - Dissertation focussed on the UK foreign policy and contributions to post conflict environments.
